I just upgraded from the original Bold lock to the new Bold Elite and I couldn't be happier! 😄🔐 The installation was smooth, and the new design feels super premium and secure. 💪 What really impressed me are the new features: 🔔 Reminder notifications – never forget if the door's unlocked again! 🔋 Low energy consumption – love that I don’t have to worry about frequent battery changes. 📱 The iOS app looks fantastic now – clean, modern, and super intuitive. Being part of the beta program makes me even more excited for what's coming next. 🚀 Bold has taken everything great about the original and elevated it to a new level. Bold Elite: game changer

Very easy installation when you order the right size, which is als easy to do using the Bold size instruction video. The Elite has a bunch of new features that are really nice to have. It is too bad you are lucked out having the non Elite version. A supporting your (first) customers upgrade program would be great. Knowing whether your Bold is locked for me is a big win: I have 11 Bold locks and it saves a lot of time at night knowing which if any are open still. Thanks to Bold, keep up the good work in a keyless life… but be mindful als of your early customers.

High-quality, robust and well thought-out

I've been using the Bold Elite on my apartment door for a few months now and would like to share my experience here – honestly and from a user perspective. Installation: Installation was surprisingly easy. No drilling, no cables, no special tools – replacing the cylinder took less than 10 minutes. The lock fits standard Euro-profile door cylinders, so it was no problem for me. The app guided me through the setup process, which was self-explanatory. Everyday Use: I control the lock using the Bold app via Bluetooth – it works reliably. As soon as I approach the door, the system recognizes my smartphone and I can unlock it. It almost always works right away, only very rarely does it take a second longer. You can also grant other people temporary or permanent access in the app, which I use for family visits, for example – very practical. Security and Build Quality: The lock appears very robust and high-quality – metal casing, good feel. It's SKG*** certified, which was an important point for me. Communication is encrypted, access is password-protected – overall, the whole system gives a trustworthy impression. The only drawback: There's no mechanical key as a backup. So you're dependent on a smartphone or a bridge. Not a problem for me, since I always have my phone with me anyway – but it's worth knowing. Battery life: According to the manufacturer, the integrated battery lasts up to two years – so far, it looks like it will. The app displays the battery level, and you get an early warning when it's running low. So, no nasty surprises to be expected. Conclusion: I'm very satisfied with the Bold Elite. It offers exactly the blend of convenience, security, and design I was looking for. It's reliable to use, the lock looks good, and I never have to search for my key again. If you want to switch to a smart door lock without immediately connecting your entire house, this is the right choice. I definitely recommend it.

Easy to install. First find out what size you need. Handy that you can open the door in three ways. Never forget your key with your phone again. A solution for key-losers!
