Very high quality and works well

We've had the lock in operation for two weeks now and are very satisfied. The only thing I find a bit slow is the time it takes for the lock to open when you touch the outside knob. Overall, though, we're satisfied.

Safe, solid lock with many options: happy with it!

The Bold Elite and Bold Connect are easy to install and work right out of the box after a few pairing steps. Installation is simple. I enabled the "wait until turned" setting so the lock responds immediately. The only difference I can't tell is between "push-button on" and "automatic." With both, you can press the button to lock the door when you leave. Furthermore, the lock feels very solid, and the three-point locking system on my door is smooth to operate. The only issue I encountered was that onboarding new accounts doesn't always work right away. Of the four accounts I invited, it worked once. For the others, a new pairing code had to be sent three times. But once it's done, it works perfectly!

Nice product: open and close signals could be better

Nice product. Already had a 'normal' bold, but chose the elite to be able to see if the lock is closed or open. Can the app be expanded so that you can always see if the lock is open or closed. Now you only see a warning at certain times or that you are leaving.

How nice that you chose the Bold Elite! You are absolutely right: the Elite has been expanded with more options, including being able to see whether the lock is open or closed. This function is only visible if your Bold Elite is paired with a Bold Connect. The lock itself works via Bluetooth and therefore cannot provide status updates when you are out of range. With the Connect, the lock is connected to the internet and you always have up-to-date information in the app, wherever you are.

Exemplary service in case of problems

My family has been using the lock for about four years now. I'm very happy with it. A few weeks ago, we noticed that the lock wasn't always opening immediately, but only on the second attempt. I removed the electronic unit (like when changing the batteries) and then noticed that one of the two pins wasn't always fully extended. I contacted customer service and received really good support. Thanks again for that. This is how customer service should always be. I've now received the electronics for the ELITE lock for a small additional charge, which works great and has even more features.
