Return Policy 

 

At Bold we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you'd like to return a product, here's everything you need to know.

Return window

  • You can return your product within 30 days of purchase. You are eligible for 1 free return label per order. To get started, register your return at boldsmartlock.com/return/ before the 30-day period expires.
  • Once we receive your return, we will process your refund within 14 days. You will be notified by email once the refund has been issued.

Installation & handling

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring the product is handled with care during installation and deinstallation. This includes using the correct tools and following Bold's installation instructions.
  • If a product is returned with damage that occurred during installation or deinstallation, this will be taken into account during our inspection and may result in a reduced refund.

Packaging & shipping the product back

  • Pack the product securely before sending it back — preferably in its original packaging. If the original packaging is no longer available, please use equivalent protective materials.
  • The customer is responsible for any damage that occurs during return shipping. Inadequate packaging that leads to damage may result in a deduction from your refund.
  • The product must be returned complete and undamaged — this includes all parts, accessories, and any items that came in the box.

Damaged returns & partial refunds

  • If a product is received in a damaged or incomplete condition, Bold reserves the right to refund less than the original purchase amount. The deduction will reflect the reduction in value caused by the damage or missing items.
  • You will always be informed by email if a deduction applies — including a clear description of the issue and the amount deducted.
  • In cases of severe damage that renders the product non-functional or unsellable, Bold reserves the right to withhold the full purchase amount. If this applies, you will be notified and given the option to have the product returned to you at your own cost.
