Enhanced sharing experience
We've made sharing easier and more intuitive. You can now send invitations for lock access via your social channels or via email in case you don't have the recipient's phone number. Moreover, in the Bold App you are also able to monitor if the shared access is still active or if it has expired.
How to share access by invitation?
- Make sure you have the latest version of the Bold app (2.6).
You can check this by going to your app, pressing the person icon and selecting Bold App. If you don’t, simply head to the App Store to update. - Go to Users and select 'Invite someone'.
- By writing a name you create a profile for this person (keep in mind this name will be assigned to the user's account and will be visible to them as well).
- Schedule the access and send the invitation. You can choose through which social platform to share the invitation.

How to accept access by invitation?
In order for the shared access to be successful, it has to be accepted by the user.
- Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the Bold app (2.6).
- Select the invitation link you've received and you will be automatically redirected to the Bold App.
- Within the Bold App you will see a pop-up, just click 'Accept' and you'll be granted access to the lock.
