Which business integrations does Bold offer?
Bold integrates with Booking Experts, Holiday Hero and Microsoft Entra ID. You can also build your own integration with the Bold API.
How does the Booking Experts integration work?
As soon as a booking is confirmed, Bold creates a WebKey (digital key) and emails it to the guest, together with clear instructions.
What happens when a booking changes?
The WebKey stays in sync with Booking Experts. When arrival or departure times change, it updates automatically.
Do guests need the Bold app?
No. Guests unlock straight from their smartphone browser. They can also add the WebKey to the Bold app, which offers Bluetooth fallback when the internet connection is poor.
What do I need to activate Booking Experts?
An active Bold account, an organisation in the Smart Access Manager, a Booking Experts account and the correct permissions in Bold.
Can I build my own integration?
Yes. The Bold Web Portal offers an API, so you can build a custom integration for your own systems.
